For Jewish Learning I did three activites:
- I took a class monday evenings at a local Reform Synagouge about Jewish Ethics.
- I took a class sunday mornings at a local Conservative Synagouge about Israel through Biblical Texts.
- SAJE (Seminars for Adults Jewish Enrichment)
- These happen in Mid-February to Mid-March and are attended by many Jewish Adults in the Metro Detroit Community.
- Some of the Classes I took:
- As a Staff, we took a Yoga Class
- I took a class about Jewish Zodiac and Luck
- A class about Judaism and 9-11
- I also snuck in on a Jewish cooking class.
- I found out that Michigan is a great state for Morels (Mushrooms)
- I truly enjoyed all of my Jewish Learning is was one of my favorite times of the week, because it was for me!
- Some advice: Jewish Learning is ESSENTIAL to the JCSC Fellowship. DO NOT schedule programs that conflict with your Jewish learning, you are screwing yourself over!
